The shield for universal precautions is designed for use in conjunction with hopper sinks to prevent splash back while emptying and flushing containers of potentially infectious materials. The product provides full frontal protection is an alternative to incineration and hauling of solidified waste. The shield can be easily cleaned and sanitized, and is installed by snapping onto the front lip of the hopper sink. It is clear, allowing for visibility of the sink.
