The MicroGas 7650 is an advanced monitoring system designed for the continuous assessment of transcutaneous PO2 and PCO2. A unique feature of the system is the integrated calibrator unit with the sensor storage facility, allowing the storage of the sensor in a stable condition when not in use. As a result, the monitor is ready-to-use at any time for routine or emergency applications. Other features include:
- The integrated calibrator unit initiates a fully automatic calibration when the sensor is placed into the calibration chamber. This feature saves valuable time of the operator. In order to keep the COMBIM sensor always in ready-to-use condition, an Auto-Calibration is performed every four hours while the sensor is not in use.
- The COMBIM sensor contains an electronic memory for the storage of all relevant sensor characteristics such as calibration values, last re-membraning date and other sensor specific data. A specially designed gold plated metal shield protects the sensor surface to prevent mechanical damage of the membrane. This enhances the sensor lifetime and ensures high measurement reliability during the entire function time.
- For fast and easy sensor re-membraning, the "Fit & Click" preparator tool is provided. It ensures a reproducible sensor preparation within seconds.
- The monitor displays a message when the sensor needs to be re-membraned, which is required only once every 14 days.
- Displays and messages are clear and easy to understand. Only a few simple control keys are required for safe and effective operation.
- The unit can be interfaced to any patient monitoring system.
